Seated chest open
Something James noticed after long periods folded over a laptop — the front of the chest and shoulders starting to feel closed or held.
James's note
I use this when I realise I've been folded over a laptop for too long. It doesn't fix anything. It simply gives me a different reference point for how the front of my body feels after I've been folded over a laptop. Sometimes it changes what I notice about how I am sitting afterwards.
This is a personal account, not an instruction, a stretch to perform, or a count of breaths to hit.
Safety note
If you feel any sharp pain, pinching, or radiating sensation in the shoulder, chest, or neck, stop and seek professional advice if needed.
